Think of us like the front desk at a great hotel — handling the foundational things (housekeeping, lawn care, window cleaning) so you can spend your time on what actually matters. We're the guy who knows a guy.
The Story
Around 2019–2020, founder Ben White recognized something about himself: he had a knack for networking and connecting people with solutions. Early experiments with finder's fees proved too nebulous to build a business around, so Ben dug deeper.
Market research pointed to a clear pain point: home and car maintenance are among the biggest frustrations for busy professionals. White Cloud initially served property managers, but the real opportunity emerged when it became clear that working professionals — doctors, lawyers, engineers — needed help reclaiming their time outside the office.
The Aha Moment — Spring 2023
In the spring of 2023, a medical group approached White Cloud about offering our service as an employee benefit. It clicked. Doctors who spend their days saving lives shouldn't have to spend their evenings figuring out who to call about a broken sprinkler system.
That conversation crystallized everything: White Cloud exists to keep talented professionals focused on the work and the people that need them most.
